We spent the weekend in Massachusetts to celebrate the boys' cousin's 3rd birthday! Unfortunately, the drive took a little longer than we thought. It wasn't a holiday weekend, but the traffic proved different. It seemed like EVERYONE wanted to go to New England this weekend! Ben put it so well when he stated, "Ohhh, I don't like these traffic jams." It took us over 5 hours when it should have only been 3.5 hours! But, as soon as we got there, it was all forgotten. The kids were welcomed with a backyard jam-packed with fun! They had such a great time and didn't want to leave.
It was only a 2 day and 1 night trip, but we packed like it was for a month! Thank goodness we did, because we used pretty much everything we brought!
